at First Presbyterian Church Gallatin

Women serve in various positions at the church; Sunday School Teachers, Choir Members,  Prayer Chain Members, Greeters, Ushers, Deacons, Elders, Lay Readers, Nursery Volunteers, Wednesday Night Cooks, Fellowship Hostesses between Sunday School - Worship Services and Bible Studies.

We are organized into three groups called Circles “ Home Circle (formerly Circle 1) for our home bound and/or assisted living ladies; Circle 2 meets at 10 a.m. at the church on the third Wednesday of each month; and Circle 3 meets in individual homes on the second Monday of each month at 6:30pm.

Some of our mission projects and fund raisers include a series of Cookbooks “ currently developing a supplement intended to be back from the press in time for Christmas gift giving sales. Our fall mission project is Learning Bags for Project Joy.   We join forces with other Presbyterian Women in Middle TN to gather supplies, make bags and prepare them to be delivered to Harlan, KY area.

In March we host the Taste and Tell Luncheon.  A Gallatin tradition for over ten (10) years; we prepare dishes and sell tickets for an all you can eat luncheon.  It is our major fundraiser to help support local missions of our church.

We have a directory and a prayer chain that anyone can activate by calling the church office to request prayer.  Our phone tree will assist spreading the word of your prayer request.

Hope you can join us anytime.  We start a new Bible Study each Fall .
