Youth

The Youth Ministry at First Presbyterian Church Gallatin has changed and evolved over the years. For the last couple of years we have been meeting in our church, homes or a local coffee house, however, we are looking forward to having our own space, which we call "OurSpace." OurSpace is a house that has been lovingly provided by the church in order to allow our junior and senior high students to have  a place where they can relax, hang out together, worship, study and grow in Christ, Character and Community.

Our Jr. High is made up of 6th-8th grade students and our Sr. High group is made up of 9th-12th grade students. Most of the time, we meet together, but we break into small groups for Bible Study and Hot Topic Discussions.

Our programs combine a mixture of food, fellowship, fun and worship of different types. Our youth are encouraged to participate in special events, service projects, fun activities, mission projects and a variety of worship experiences. This is an ecumenical group with youth from several denominations joining in our worship and activities.

Cross Connection

Cross Connection meets on Sunday night from 6:00-7:30 at OurSpace. The evening begins with some hang-time and then we have announcements and snack dinner. From 6:45 - 7:30 we have Share and Prayer, Praise and Worship and God's Word for the Week. Cross Connection is led by our youth director and a team of youth advisors.

T4J

T4J (Teens for Jesus) meets on Wednesday night from 6:00-7:30 at OurSpace. The evening begins with some hang-time then announcements and snack dinner. From 6:45-7:30 we have Bible study and Hot Topics, discussing issues that our students face on a regular basis that can challenge their faith. These Bible studies are led by our student leaders, along with a youth advisor and/or the youth director. Depending on the Hot Topic of the night, the group may be broken into small groups by age and/or gender.
